WEDDING / GROOM'S CAKE FLAVORS

We use our buttercake layer as the base for most wedding cakes. Our buttercake is a cross between a white cake and a pound cake. Where a traditional "white cake" utilizes only the egg white, out buttercake includes the whole egg, making a very flavorful, light, buttery, but not too heavy layer.

Your wedding cake can be any flavor you like, even chocolate, and still be finished in vanilla Buttercream... looking like a "traditional" wedding cake...until that first cut.  

Most of our wedding cakes are finished with our Swiss Meringue Buttercream for a super~smooth finish. Since our buttercreams are all-butter, they are slightly off-white in color. If you want a stark white finish for your cake, it will have to be finished in fondant.

If you're looking for a more casual look, we can finish your cake in our Classic Vanilla Buttercream or even Cream Cheese Frosting, with a textured, sort of "stucco" approach.

Strawberry Cream   
Vanilla buttercake layers are drizzled with fresh strawberry juice, then filled with our luscious strawberry cream

Classic Coconut    
Vanilla layers are splashed with coconut cream, then filled with coconutty coconut cream

Italian Cream   
A classic wedding flavor, vanilla layers are studded with toasted pecans and coconut and filled with our delicious cream cheese frosting

Yummy Carrot Cake   
Moist cinnamon tinged layers, chock full of freshly shredded carrots, toasted pecans, pineapple and currants, filled with cream cheese frosting

Red Velvet   
A classic southern fave...these rich red layers   are splashed with   amaretto syrup, then filled with our rich cream cheese frosting.

Mocha Mambo   
If you love coffee...chocolate layers are splashed with Kahlua liquer, then filled with alternating layers of rich mocha cream and chocolate fudge frosting.

Dulce de Leche
Vanilla layers are filled with caramel cream, then drizzled with ooey gooey caramel.

 

 

 

 

SuperDeluxe Flavors:

Strawberry "Shortcake"    
Our classic vanilla layers are splashed with strawberry juice, then filled with strawberry cream and fresh chopped strawberries.

Lemon Raspberry   
A favorite in spring and summer...vanilla layers are splashed with tangy lemon syrup, then filled with creamy lemon Buttercream, into which we smoosh   yummy fresh raspberries.

Orange Apricot Strawberry
Another summer fave...vanilla layers are splashed with fresh orange juice, shmeared with apricot jam, then filled with strawberry cream and chunks of ripe delicious strawberries.

Key Lime Coconut Mango   
Like summer in a cake...vanilla layers are splashed with key lime syrup, then filled with mango cream and moist shredded coconut.

Chocolate Lovers'   
Nothing but chocolate...velvety chocolate layers are drizzled with Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, then filled with dark, rich bittersweet chocolate ganache.

Just About Decadent   
Chocolate layers splashed with Gran Marnier liqueur, shmeared with a thin layer of apricot jam, then filled with dark chocolate ganache.

Chocolate Raspberry Cake   
Delicious chocolate layers are splashed with raspberry liqueur, shmeared with a layer of tangy raspberry jam, then filled with alternating layers of dark chocolate ganache and chocolate fudge frosting, and studded with fresh juicy raspberries.
